I want to be right in the middle of the city. I want to spend no more than 50 euro per night. I want to be in a clean, comfortable place.

  1. after seeing the movie hostel i would not go anywhere near there sorry id be too freaked out.

  2. Here are some links to ho(s)tels in the inner city ("1. Bezirk" in german language) of Vienna:

    http://www.booking.com/hotel/at/lerner.e... (Prices from 50 - 88 Euro)

    http://www.booking.com/hotel/at/apartrie... (Prices from 14 - 99 Euro)

    http://www.booking.com/hotel/at/residenz... (Prices from 58 - 100 Euro)

    http://www.booking.com/hotel/at/austria.... (Prices from 75 - 204 Euro)

  3. When I was in Vienna, I stayed at the Wombat City Hostel.  It was pretty nice, but I must admit it wasn't "in the heart of the city".  I liked this however, because I got to see much more of Vienna (plus, I like walking everywhere).  I think it was 17 euro a night?  A great website to check is hostelworld.com.  Not only does it rank all hostels in the searched for area, it allows you to book through their site as well.  Another thing that a lot of people don't think of is to check for cheaper hotels.  Sometimes a hotel is a step up from a hostel and is the same price or cheaper....it deoends on when  you're staying too.  Rates are way cheaper during the week, and off season.  Good luck and have a wonderful time! I loved Vienna and am so jealous that you get to go there!!

  4. You can try www.hotelbooklet.com which compares more than 30 popular hotel reservations sites and shows all available deals!

  5. Well, there are 112 hotels in Austria. The cheapest one would probably be Hotel Gästehaus Pfeilgasse. It is only two stars, but is in the center of Vienna, with a magnificent location.
