What's a no fuss lip color?

Question

I am looking for a simple lip color that is cheap and and lasts a good amount of time. What would last longest on lips while still being drugstore cheap: lip stain? lipstick? very tinted lip gloss? or lip liner?

If you can recommend your favorite lip colors that would be great!

You said no fuss, but I this is what I do:

I put outline my lips with lip liner, either in a natural color or in the color of the lipstick. Then I draw on lipstick with a lip brush, blot, add some powder, and draw on some more, then blot again. A simple lip stain is to just put some lipstick on your index finger, then press/roll into lips. Otherwise Maybelline lip gloss is great, comes in a silver thing.

The color would depend on your skin tone. Some light pink color would look nice on light skin.

Usually I just use clear lip gloss. It makes my lips look plumper and shiny, but doesn't add any color. My lips are a pretty good shade that I like, so clear lip gloss it good.

A lip gloss that only lightly tinted with pink would be great for most people.

Tinted Lip Gloss (or blam) with SPF!! It lasts forever! Softlips SPF tinted lipblam is good! I have it, it's light pink and pretty! just tinted a little!
