What's a non-trashy way to put color in your hair (a non-natural color like blue)?

I want to dye my hair electric black (it's already extremely dark, and I prefer black) and put in some blue, but I don't want to look like a teenager who bought a bunch of kool-aid powder and decided to rebel against mom. My hair is pretty short, so is there a cool funky way, that's still classy looking to put in color?

no such thing. putting those crazy colors in your hair is trashy.

Unnatural colors are not classy. ever. its for 12 year olds and 20 year olds who think they're 12, working at hottopic.

well if you have bangs, you could put a few thick streaks threw them. otherwise just put it in modestly, but deffinately enough to catch the eye.

How old are you? If your around 15 or younger, it will be trashy no matter what. Have a professional do it or else you'll s***w it up, guaranteed. Unless the angsty teenager look is what your going for.

Just buy a good hair dye. It won't look trashy as long as you haven't messed up your hair by dying too much.

well there really is no way to put color in your hair without ruining your hair but you can go to  Ulta  or Sally's Salon and they have hair pieces and they have all colors they clip in or you can sew in the r about 5 dollars a peice!Hope this helped.

See if you have long hair and you had layers in your hair you could dye the whole of the bottom layer blue.  and leave the top layer your normal colour.
