Question:

What's a normal "beats per minute" for teenagers?

There's this little thing at home that I use sometimes to calculate my heart beat, and sometimes it's only 61, which scares me. Because I think for teenagers it should be ATLEAST 60.. which means I'm at the minimum, which isn't good. And YES, the tool is accurate.

Every time my heart beats a little slower or more then a little slower then it should I get all worried, and I hate it. I want to have a healthy heart - I mean, who doesn't?

Thank you all for your answers!!!

  1. Normal resting heart rate for teens/adults is: 60 to 100 beats per minute.

  2. like... 50 to 100

mine is around 60-70 resting.. .

    don't worry

  3. lol let me tell u the reason its becasue ur frekin urself out so ur heart slows down and dont worry the body knows what its doing 60 is nothing to be worried about and if that machines on a tredmill then it is not accurate because i run on mine for like 20 mins and its shows mine as like 65 when its over 100
