What's a preppy person?

My friend at school said dude you're such a preppy.

Well, it has been around a long time, in the 80's there was "The Preppy Handbook". It means someone who is clean cut, nowadays that would mean shopping at Hollister, Abercrombie, or American Eagle or wearing those type of clothes. Clothes like polo shirts, khaki pants or shorts and jeans (for males)- or "vintage t's" (shirts that are new but have some thing on them that makes them look old) or graphic t's or collared shirts in general. Clean cut. Listens to country, rap or top 40 music. Probably has a group of friends and just goes along with what they do instead of being their own person. Probably a republican or has conservative values. Maybe they're on a sports team/jock. Does that sound like you?
