Is that the same as a sweater? I've always wondered since I read the Harry Potter & Shopoholic series.

  1. I've always thought it was a dress. I could be wrong, though.

  2. Pretty much a pullover sweater.

You know in the Harry Potter movies, the sweaters that Ron's mum makes for all of them for Christmas?

    Yep [=

  3. Wow!! A jumper is a sweater, pullover, jumper, or jersey and they are pretty heavy, often made of wool - great fpr winter! I don't wear them, but they are very common (haha we need 'em for this lousy weather!!)

A jumper with a hood is a hoodie.

    A jumper with a zip is a cardie/cardigan.

You guys have sweater vests (Like Chandler haha!) and we have tank tops. I think!

Urm I think thats about it, sorry if I'm wrong!! Here is a nice piccy of one. :)

  4. A jumper is a sweater, we call them both names.

    Also call them woolly jumpers.

My mum always used to knit woolly jumpers, for me when I was young and then she knitted them for both my sons.

    Edit...
