I think you mean Screen Name - this is the name you make up to call yourself online.  Like "Susie1974"  or "FishermanBob"  You can make it anything you want, unless that name has already been chosen by someone else.

Celebrities can also have screen names (also known as stage names) if their birthname is something hard to pronounce  (Jennifer Aniston's real name is Jennifer Anastassakis)  or boring  (Wolfman Jack's real name was Robert Smith) or otherwise unappealing to use in show business (John Wayne's real name was Marion Morrison)
