What's a "whip cone" at an ice cream shop?

I went to our local ice cream place and on the menu was a "whip cone". I didn't get it, but ever since I've been curious about what it is. Does anyone know what it is??

A whip cone is usually dispensed from a whipped ice cream machine(like a Dairy Queen) verses just using a scoop to scoop out ice cream from a bucket and plopping it into a cone.
