What's a real nice thing to do for my mother in a week or so?

Question

I was on my moms laptop playing with garage band (I have a PC so whenever I want to do something on a mac, I go to hers.) And so I went to safari on accident and as I started to go back to Garage band, I saw the page said that my mom had purchased a desk that I had been talking about all week. She hadn't told me about it, so either she is waiting to tell me or it was a surprise. I am not one to ruin a surprise, but the question is, I want to do something really nice either after it gets here or before without her knowing I know about it. I just want to do something real nice. I don't know how to cook, she wakes up before me usually and I don't know how to sing, or anything. What can I do that isn't too obvious but is really nice? Like, I can't make a card or something. Oh~And it can't have something to do with money because for one, I don't have money and for two, I live at least 30 minutes away from any store, so if I went to a store to buy something, my mother would know what I bought!

Maybe have a day where you pamper her and stuff. Like give her a pedicure or manicure. And Clean the house for her that day so she can just relax. Or maybe write her a really nice poem. Good Luck!

You can give an extra hand around the house. Moms have a hard job taking care of the kids and the house so if you just do something without being asked she will be surprised and very happy.

Or you could make her a card for after you get the desk then it is not fishy that she got a card for no reason.

Or you could think back to what she is complaining the most about you not doing...

If it is that you are always gone, make some quality time for her,

if it is that you never hug her anymore because you are growing up to much, give her some good cuddles,

if it is that she wishes you would keep your room clean, do it,

if she is one who is always asking you to speak politely then get rid of any of the language she does not like and pay her some complements...

When someone is always on your case about something it is not that you are in the wrong it is just that is the area that needs to shine the most to them. That is how they feel loved.

Try to listen extra carefully to her bringing up something she wants , if it's out of your budget try making it yourself ( if possible ) . If not than try making her a cake or something sweet .

Clean the house without being asked ot do the dishes, the laundry something like that. Trust me I would love that LOL
