What's a really beautiful city/town in Spain to have a summer romance?

I'm thinking of writing a book about a girl visiting Spain and falling in love. So I want to know find a perfect location to set it.

Somewhere with beautiful weather, a beautiful scenery, and not a long drive from shops/boutiques, because the character's friend is planning a wedding. Maybe a kind of middle class to rich part of the country.

If anyone can't name an exact city that meets these requirements, then what 's a general area of Spain that would have pleasant weather, etc.?

Its got to be Barcelona.  Great food, amazing night life, wonderful architecture and tourist attractions.  and after you have spent some time there hop the ferry to Ibiza.  Lazy days man.  A great place to really get to know your girl.

There is a town called Ronda.......beautiful small and crawling with culture........
