  1. Roast Lamb.

    2.5kg Leg of lamb

    1 Clove garlic, sliced

    1T Rosemary

    Lemon juice

    Salt & black pepper

    Preheat oven to 200C (400F)

Cut small slits in lamb and insert the garlic. Rub meat with rosemary and lemon juice and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Place meat in roasting pan and roast, uncovered, for 20 minutes.

Reduce heat to 170C (340F) and roast for 20 minutes per pound.

    Serve with minted pan gravy.

  2. It depends on how many people you are having over. If we were having a party for 8-10 other people, I'd barbecue hot dogs, burgers and marinated chicken b*****s. For the sides I'd have a pasta salad, a green salad, fruit salad, baked beans, maybe some roasted or boiled potatoes and brownies or a trifle for dessert. Have plenty of cold beverages for kids and adults and be sure to promote safe driving!

  3. Barbecue is a great idea for Labor day. You can have great fun with the variety of bbq recipes and videos here
