What's a really good chainsaw, that's lightweight, but still has power ?

What's a really good chainsaw, that's lightweight, but still has power ? I've heard good things about the Homelight brands.

stihl or husqvarna.   Both are very good saws and if you properly take care of them they will last a lifetime.   I have a husqvarna saw that I inhearted from my grandfather that is probely 25 years old and still runs like the day it was brand new.   Do not buy a homelight.  you might as well buy a sawzaw if your considering a homelight.

You heard good things about Homelite??  You were either talking to someone that sells them, or someone that has never held a real chainsaw.  

If you need a chainsaw, big or small, Stihl is the way to go.

The key to getting a chainsaw (good, bad, or otherwise) that is light with good power is to keep the bar short.  If you must have a longer bar, you will need a saw that weighs a bit more.

To maximize your power, keep the chain sharp and let the chain do the cutting -- don't try to shove the saw through something faster than it needs to go.

One of the saws that I have is a Stihl 017.  This is a nice little saw, starts easy, lightweight, has great power (for its size).  If you need more that a 14" bar, you should have something a bit bigger.  For what its worth, my wife has used it from time to time.  Scary to me, but she seemed to get along fine.  This model has been replaced, I believe by the MS170.

Ok,there's a chainsaw that is exactly what your looking for.I don't know what it's called,but on each side,it has wierd(about 2 inch long)blades on each side.It has really good power,and its super light weight because just today,I  walkied by this one housewife and she was using it.

remington 10" pole saw its a chain saw and really nice you can have it ordered about 100 bucks for this and they are nice and women can handle it also.
