I really enjoyed Pearl Harbor, so can you suggest something like it?

It's gotta have some romance, action and tearful moments ;)

  1. For war experience it is hard to beat "The Longest Day"  and "The Battle of Britain"

With romance, "The Americanization of Emily"

"Casablanca" for romance and tearful moments.

  2. Well, it really doesn't have the romance, but I've always enjoyed the movie  "To h**l and Back" from 1955. It's the true story of America's most decorated war hero Audie Murphy - and it actually stars him as he became an actor after World War II. It's worth a look if you've never seen it.

  3. A Guy Named Joe (1943) Spencer Tracy & Irene Dunne

From Here to Eternity (1953) Burt Lancaster & Deborah Kerr

Casablanca (1942) Humphrey Bogart & Ingrid Bergman

  4. The Big Red One with Lee Marvin. It's one of the best.

  5. tora tora tora has great moments.

  6. Letters From Iwo Jima

  7. "In Harms Way" with John Wayne...excellent WWII Navy movie

  8. Pearl Harbor was more of a love story set in a WWII context. Enemy at the Gates fits the description.

  9. "Midway"  is a good flick

  10. its not old, but Saving Private Ryan was good.

  11. enemy at the gates. great ww2 movie about a duel between a german and russian sniper. love story worked inthere too
