E6000 is a great glue.  It dries clear and is available at craft stores as well as home improvement stores.  For small items, I take a dab out with a toothpick.

Gorilla glue is wonderful and works great with fabrics. I used it while making Roman shades and to adhere velcro to metal headrails. follow the directions on the bottle! Good luck.

I would prefer Gorilla Glue. It's EXTREMELY strong and it works best if you don't glob it or put too much. It glues really strongly.

Gorilla glue is the strongest. Once you open it, use it and close it, you can never use it again, because it glues itself shut!

I use ZAP CA, very thin diluted CA for almost all materials, fast drying too.
