What's a -rock- band that you like but everybody seems to hate?

Mine is FOB. I know alot of people hate them but I love Patrick's voice and their lyrics. I think its unfair that Patrick, Andy, and Joe are constantly in Pete's shadow.

Marilyn Manson. He's a really great lyricist and in my opinion is a great singer. It irks me that a lot of of the people who bash him have never even listened to his music and just judge him on how he looks.

I completely and totally agree with everything you said. Personally, I think that Patrick, Joe, and Andy are way underrated. Every time my little 12 year old cousins make me read one of their teeny-bopper magazines with them, Pete is always SOMEWHERE in there.

(I don't think he's even the best-looking one. Patrick has my vote there. ^_^)

Other than that, well, Panic At The Disco has a lot of haters too. Or people who liked A Fever You Can't Sweat Out but hate Pretty. Odd.

basically my top three favorite bands are heralded every time they are mentioned here as 'mainstream c**p'. oh well. i'm getting into some more heavy stuff, but i still love the music that got me into rock in the first place.

these include:

green day

evanescence

three days grace is another favorite, although it doesn't get as much of a bad name as the others.

I like Fall Out Boy. People hate them because they're a sell out, not because of their music. Their music is quite good - Patrick's voice and Pete's lyrics are great. Fall Out Boy music is far better than Jonas f**s, so why do Fall Out Boy get hated so much here on R&P?

what the h**l is wrong with people.  It's very hard to go living knowing that 50% of the people think that they suck, and it's even harder when they're your favorite Band.



also DragonForce, Nickelback, Slipknot and The Jonas Brothers, but i understand why people hate the J Brothers.(They are nothing if you compare them to the great bands like Van Halen and Motley Crue)

Staind.  Aside from all the carbon copy bands that are out, they have become the most hated band I have seen because they drifted away from the heavier first album to stuff that is more mainstream.  Shame on them for wanting to sell records.  They are one of the only bands that I willing go out and buy their music.

haha..i read your question and was like FOB and then i clicked on it..and then i read your answer..haha! but i totally agree with you, and when i go to concerts and you have all those girls are screaming i love you pete..my favorite is pete i want your baby..who seriously says that. I like them all equally. But alot of people seem to hate them and think their lyrics are stupid and dont mean anything, but i disagree! ♥
