  1. a root canal is when your tooth is rotten. you usually get it from a cavity. the dentist will numb your mouth, drill a hole straight down your tooth, stick a wired "stick" in your tooth, twist it, and yank out all the nerves inside your tooth because they are dead and just rotting your tooth away. then they will fill it and you will be on your away. it isnt fun at all, but tecnology has come a long way and they are pretty painless these days. dont get me wrong, its not like it doesnt hurt at all, but it isnt too bad.

  2. If you have infection deep in your tooth or a very deep filling which exposes the nerve, the dentist drills out the decay as usual. Then he will remove the nerve and any infection using special spiral shaped tools. he should then fill the root with a sedative filling before putting the usual filling material on top. It may well ache for a couple of days after as it has been traumatised. Sometimes this is necessary if you've had an abscess and they remove the nerve, clean out the root canal and drain the abscess before doing the filling.

  3. A root canal happens when you have a cavity and do not go to the dentist for a long time and it starts to hurt bad and goes to you roots then you have to have the procedure of extracting the tooth and roots. That a very pricey toll to take. Just let them drill your cavities.

  4. I tthink it's when the dentist drills into the tooth and removes the root of an infected tooth. It's supposed to be an alternative to having the whole tooth removed permanently.

  5. well its not a river maybe they take barges down it....

  6. Your root is drilled to make a canal and metal pushed down into it to strengthen your tooth's hold on your jaw. Good luck, It ain't as much fun as Disneyland.
