What's a short message my son can write to his kindergarten teacher?

This is not my idea-- I saw it somewhere, but can't remember where--

Have him write:

Dear __________,  Thank you for making me a (Smartie) and not a (Dum-Dum)!

     From, _______________

(Tape a pack of Smarties and a DumDum sucker in the appropriate places)  I think this is so cute, and it wouldn't require too much writing for a Kindergartner!

How about something like, "thank you for being such a fun teacher, I loved being in your class"?

Tell him to say good things that happend over the year, what he likes about her, and have in thank her for being a great teacher.

Give him paper, crayons, a pencil and let him do his own message.  Teachers love when the kids did it on their own.

Ask him what he wants to say and just assist a little.
