What's a stay at home mom do & what is a midwife..?

Like how do you get paid and stuff? Do you get paid alot? I dont get it..plz explain

Stay at home moms sometimes do jobs from home like daycare or computer work but sometimes they just spend 24/7 taking care of their child(ren) and their house and all involved with that.  A midwife is someone that is specially trained to deliver babies and usually delivers at home or a birthing center and they go all natural and are less invasive. Pay would depend on the area and the need really.

we have midwifes in Australia, they are qualified nurses who do an extra year at university so that they can assist doctors during birth and help with antenatal care. they get paid a decent wage, more than a nurse does.

stay at home moms cook, clean, and take care of the kids while the husband makes the money. A midwive goes to women's houses to help them deliver their baby at home. The also check up on the women throughout their pregnancies. You get paid buy the client but I don't know how much, probably a lot.

A stay at home mom doesn't get paid. They stay home and take care of their kids while their husband works, usually. Sometimes mom's can collect unemployment, disability, or child support. Usually, these things don't fully support their family, but they can, sometimes.

I think a midwife is kinda like a nanny. That's their job and they get paid.

A stay at home mom (typically) takes care of their children all day (and have to listen to siblings arguing), take care of the home (like making sure it is clean).  They are paid nothing, but work their azz's off. However, studies show that if the average stay at home mom was earning a salary, they would be paid $120K a year.  

A midwife is sort of like an obstetrician.  They assist mothers in giving birth.  They do everything a doctor does, but they don't have a doctorate degree.  Most also believe in natural birth (i.e. no meds).   They are paid, but the salary differs.

okay a stay at home mom really doesnt get money because unless she works at home all she does is clean after her family, cook, run erands, sit around the house and stuff like that and a midwife is someone that is there for other woman when they are pergnant as a kind of coach, and they are mostly there when the lady is having her baby helping her though the labor and delivery and i dont know how much they get paid, i think that they get pain like a nurse does because that is pretty much what they are.
