ok i was creating a website and it said i had to list tags. what are those?

Tags are words that you put in your code so that your site is easier to find in searches

Think about it as if you were in a grocery store.  The signs that are above the isle, one says "Crackers".  You are looking for crackers so you go down that isle and you find saltines, ritz, and many others.  Think of it as a few words that describe what the post / website is about.  It enables websites to be able to categorize you in the correct spot.

Its for search engines, you list anything you would want your website to come up from when searched for... So say your website was about dog grooming. You would wants to list dogs, grooming, dog grooming, dog show,,,, things like that.. so your website would come up when someone searched dog show.
