What's a trusted and user-friendly site that allows me to purchase India train tickets?

I'd like to order rail tickets but I don't know which sites are respectible ones. Also, I find it a bit confusing. Is there any site that is simple to navigate? Thanks!!!

http://www.irctc.co.in/ is the official website of Indian Railways,where you can do online reservation of train tickets.

irctc.co.in... best site. u can buy tkts using credit cards or debit cards. u also have the option of taking the print out of the ticket (e ticket) or get the tkt delivered to the address u need (i ticket) through an overnite courier. if u buying an e ticket u would need some identification documents like your passport etc. u can also book tickets under tatkal system if it is an emergency reservation. but you would need to register for a username and password first. we do all our bookings through it and have not had any problems yet

The Indian government's site, while sometimes a bit tricky, is the best one in my opinion. I booked a variety of train tickets through there and they worked out quite well.
