  1. any liquids should not be over 3oz each and that includes lip gloss, toothpaste, moisturizing cream, lotion, toothpaste, deodorant (if not stick).  put these items in a ziplock bag.  you need to get this ziplock bag ready when entering the security point.  you have to take off your shoes and that will pass on the x-ray.  laptop should be taken out of its case to pass the x-ray.  you're allowed one carry on aside from purse.  if you're checking in bags, you can put your liquids on your check in bags instead of carrying with you on the plane.  take your jacket if your wearing one when passing the security.

  2. Better than read these answers (some of which may be correct) you should just read the TSA website. It is updated frequently.  (www.tsa.gov)

  3. I'm going to go ahead and change your question.

What's NOT allowed on carry on are bottles of liquid over 3oz. and of course.. any sharp weapons/items of any sort.

I think anything is allowed on the luggage.. except for of course.. bombs and things.  Ammunition and gun is fine I believe, except that it cannot have gunpowder or something, but I doubt you'll have these things with you anyway, so I'll skimp on the details.

You should really check tsa.gov for all the listings of what and what nots.

I'm 18 and I travel with just a carry on, I stuff all my clothes, computer, PSP, ipod, documents (you should carry important stuff with you), meds.. yeah.

  4. You want me to list everything? Ok here goes: wallets, money, keychains, keys, laptops, iPods, magazines, food, drinks, backpacks, binkies, dipers, pictures, picture frames, watches, bracelets, diamonds, paper, books, crayons, markers, erasers, pencils, carpet, pens, ear phones, white boards, cameras, spray bottles, light bulbs, tic-tacs, batteries, tissues, CD's, tiles, trophies, thermometers, glasses, violin bows, maple syrup, rosin, bamboo, Venus Fly Traps... do you want me to go on?

  5. I was told basically, nothing.  err on the side of caution and put all toiletries, nail clippers, knitting needles (ok, i'm a wee bit silly) etc onto your checked luggage.  wear comfy shoes you can get on and off, cause they check shoes.  Oh and don't act suspicious, or say something stupid, like BOMB!
