Question:

What's an LSD trip like?

I know a lot about psychoactive substances, but I haven't looked at LSD much. Stories tell about the wild out of control experiences. I was wondering if you really have no idea what's going on AT ALL! or if you kind of have a slight sense of at least where your are, or who you are. Please, only respond if you have done LSD or know someone who has described their experience to you. And I know, LSD is bad..., don't tell me again!

  1. The big problem with LSD is that its synthetic version can lead to flash - backs. And you wouldn't want that my friend. It can happen weeks or even months later, without warning, anywhere.

It is a Russian roulette mate. In some individuals it can trigger schizophrenics behavior.

The natural version of LSD is safe, nevertheless it's much more difficult to make it out of the special corn (not telling you which), so nobody is selling it.

Do some diligent studies and you may find out the pure drug.

Dr. Albert Hofmann, the inventor of the mind-altering drug LSD, died at the age of 102. Hofmann was a Swiss chemist who discovered lysergic acid and was the first person to experience an acid trip--for both good and bad.

Mind you, he was taking LSD periodically till his old age, before he embarked on the final TRIP.

    EDIT.

It makes me wonder. What if this drug is the fountain of  youth??

  2. You know what's going on.... most times.  If not what would be the point?

3 of my friends tried Datura, Jimmson weed, they really had no idea what was going on. One of them broke into someones house.

  3. if you do it right you will end up naked  in a group of groovie people dude  farout man the first time i tripped i woke up in a elderly  couples house lying naked in bed with both of them   good times  good times

  4. It depends on how many hits you take. I happened to take two hits when I was 16, 5 years back. It actually took about 4 hours to kick in. I first noticed this great euphoric rush that made me laugh about everything and I was very happy. My blood pressure went up and I couldn't help to feel excited. About 30 minutes later, it hit me and I seen red geometrical shapes and figures across the windows, shifting back and forth. Then I seen this rug that looked like critters running back and forth on it, but I knew it wasn't. I knew what happened. I had a pretty good time, but I wouldn't try it again. I also felt the back of my neck dripping. It just kept ticking and I didn't know what was happening. It didn't frighten me because I was fearless back then.

I wouldn't advise trying it these days because they can lace the stuff with poison and it can kill you. You never know how they make it.

  5. Everyone's trip is different. But from my experience on acid, you are quite aware where you are and what you are doing except that your attention and memory span is cut short so you may forget where you put your backpack down, how you got to where you are now, or what you were just talking about a second ago. Some people, like I did, experience full on audio and visual hallucinations.. like dancing stars or walking trees. There is also a feeling of euphoria, you may find yourself being more open and uninhibited, more friendly, or feel like everything in the world is right and beautiful. You might feel really heavy like gravity is pulling you straight into the ground, and you might feel like you are "melting" or "melding" onto other surfaces that you may be leaning against or touching. It is a "life-changing" experience, but I'm not advocating that you experiment with LSD. It does have it's negative side.. I'm just answering your question :)

*Oh and coming down from a trip is another story.. not so glamorous as while peaking.

  6. Contrary to the post above, you cannot be posioned while taking lsd. The active amount used in lsd is in the micrograms and no known substance will kill you at these levels. LSD trips vary greatly from person to person.
