My father needs life insurance and has health problems. He needs something with low monthly payments, but will provide enough if he has a natural death.

  1. When you get a life insurance..

    1. find out how much coverage you need at the event of death

    2. how much I can afford to pay the premium

    3. Who do I choose for my beneficiaries.

Usually your annual income X10 would be considered "enough" for face value of the insurance.  But you have to considere the mortgage too.  Is it enough to cover the house mortage and leave some money for my family to make a living?

If your father is old..you do need to take a health exam.  If you find a company claims you do not need one, that company is probably a fraud.

If your father works for the company where provides life insurance, you do not need a health exam up to certain amount.

If your father has a health problem, but the life insurance company is willing to take your father, you should take that chance.

The life insurance is the best financial product in the history.

  2. "Health problems" isn't really specific.  Do you mean he has had a heart attack, diabetes, COPD, or organ transplant?  These are all potentially coverable with a regular insurance company.  If it were me, my first stop would be to the normal channels before I started searching for guarantee issue policies.  You should probably work with someone who has experience with difficult cases like your father's.

You can email me through Y!A.

  3. Define "enough".

The odds are always going to be stacked in favor of the life insurance company.  If he wants a low payout policy - just enough to cover funeral costs - he can get a "no exam" policy through aarp or similar.  But there are QUESTIONS, and he has to wait out a period where he's paying the premium, but can't collect if he dies - usually 2 years.

Which is enough time for them to collect enough money from him, to be able to pay him.

  4. The older you are, the more certain it is that life insurance companies will not issue policies without a medical exam.

  5. It all depends on the amount of insurance. I don't know what state you live in but i'm an insurance agent in Ohio, if you'd like you can email me some details, as far as age, amount of coverage he's looking for... stuff like that. a_keene34@yahoo.com or adrienne.keene@wslife.com

  6. Ray Hammersley insurance agency provides you with affordable and no health exam life insurance coverage.

  7. There is really no such thing.  You could possibly find a company that issues lower amounts of life insurance with no exam but even those policies ask health questions and order info from the doctor on any issues reported.  If you don't tell the truth, they are generally not obligated to pay.

Your best bet is to call around, speak to a few agents and be completely forthcoming about any health problems he has.  Otherwise, you may be paying for something you can never collect on.
