  1. We use a sticky mousetrap and a night light. We have several of them near areas our pets are most i.e. pet sleeping area, feeding area. We prop the night light about an inch above the sticky mousetrap on the floor. We catch most fleas at night. It takes about 3 weeks before you will see an improvement. Fleas don't stay on your pet all the time. Our problem is mostly that our pets bring them in from outside. It's a constant battle.

  2. none. google it.

  3. There is an organic flea treatment. I've bought it before. I can't recall the name off the top of my head, but I believe I still have some. Give me a few minutes to find the box, and I'll tell you what it's called and made of.

EDIT: Found it! It's called "Nature's Guardian". I bought it for my dog, I didn't look for it for a cat. It's made by "Sergeant's". Ingredients say: Peppermint Oil (3%), Cinnamon Oil (4.5%), Lemon Grass Oil (4.5%), Clove Oil (5%), Thyme Oil (5%), Other Ingredients (vanillin, isopropyl myristate... 78%). It worked very well. Be forewarned, it has a very strong cinnamon scent.

  4. I have never found anything to work, so we always use Frontline.  I know you can sprinkle your pet with diotamacious earth (sp?), but it's really messy and a very short term solution.  Sorry I don't know how to spell it, it's normally called D.E. (it's fossil layers from a quarry ground up really fine).
