What's another name for Oakland? or for "urban city"?

can't be "oaktown" or anything like that, I need it to be more obscure. it's for a poem. 10 points to the best.

There are a few that I found for you aside from Oaktown.  They are as follows

-"The Sunny Side of the Bay"

-"O-town"

-"The O"

-"Oaksterdam"

As you can say they kind of scraped the bottom of the barrel as far as nicknames go.  If you want to be very obscure try using one of Oakland's lesser known neighborhoods.
