  1. an idiot

  2. Thank you for your question.  Tightrope walking is as alien to my normal experience as alligator-wrestling; but I looked at Wiki and was amazed to see that the art is called "funambulism" (doesn't fit your requirements) and that a woman crossed Niagara Falls on a tightrope, wearing baskets on her feet, in 1876. I live close to Niagara, and we are knee-deep in feminists, why haven't I heard of this before?

  3. Tightrope walker is a funambulist (11 letters and starts with F).

May be you could try funambulator (but that's 12 letters and still starts with F).

Sorry, I don't know the answer.

    tightrope walker

    noun

an acrobat who performs on a tightrope or slack rope

    [syn: funambulist]

  4. suicidal

    maniac

  5. Funambulist is only 11 letters, so that doesn't seem to fit.

Are you sure about the "S"?  Because a tightrope is also known as a slackrope, slackwire, but those don't seem to fit either.  Even "Skywalker" is only 9 letters. And "stunt performer" is too long.

I tried to find the name of a famous tightrope walker beginning with "S", but only found Stephen Peer, Steven Caroll and Maria Spelterini.  None of those have 13 letters.

  6. somnambulist...this only has 12 letters though.
