What are the best names you've ever heard (of either gender)?

My favorite boys name is Benjamin. Probably because I'm a history freak, I like the meaning of the name (essentially "favorite son") and I love the nickname Ben.

  23. Charlotte, Wesley, Amelia, Theodore. Charlotte and Wesley are my kids' names and Amelia and Theodore are due in September!

  24. Benjamin Martin.  Lol that's from The Patriot, but I've always loved the sound of it.  I'm definitely a history freak too lol...it was my major in college.  I also like the following:

    LACHLAN TAYLOR

    JACKSON KANE

    IAIN ALEXANDER

    ALASDAIR ?

    COLETON ?

    CAMERON MILES

Most of those aren't very common bc they have to do with my Scottish heritage, but that's why I like them.  :)  I do like Benjamin though...that name will never get old.

As for girls, I don't have many ideas.  I never saw myself as a mother of girls.  But I guess I can't choose, can I lol?  The only name I have in store is an old family name, and very common.  Mary Ellen.  And I have a silver spoon set with "Mary Ellen" inscribed on each spoon (my grandmother was Mary Ellen, and my middle name is Ellen, so she passed it on to me), and who would I pass this set on to if I didn't name my daughter after it?  hahaha...joking.  ;)

    good luck with the naming!
