  1. Making as many landings as take-offs

  2. Giving free rides to a bunch of smiling happy people on charity flights.

  3. my dads a pilot im 14 but i have half an hour of pilot in command so  im a pilot- when the sun sets and your in a cloud both r awsome

  4. Sunrise from 35,000 feet.  Unparalleled views of the Chicago skyline flying into Meigs Field (RIP).  Watching thirty July 4 fireworks shows at the same time.  Any flight in a small piston plane 1,000 feet above the ground.  The satisfaction of a perfectly executed instrument approach.  The joy of teaching others the freedom of flight.  Flying over Los Angeles and not caring about the traffic on I-5.  Landing on water in a seaplane.  The camaraderie of working with true professionals.  The satisfaction that comes when you serve others.  Approaches to mountain airports.  The beauty and serenity of the vastly varying landscapes across the country and around the world.  The aqua-blue waters of the Bahamas.  Getting out of bed in the morning, seeing a different part of the country, and then being able to have dinner with my wife at the end of the day.

Sorry, I couldn't narrow it down to just one.

  5. each and every time its walking away with all parts working and accounted for, with three crashes, and still in operation, planes are repairable

  6. in Nov 2002 flying from Kissimmee at 2500' orbiting  just out side of Titusville watching the space shuttle(sts-98) lifting off. It was not quite dark, however, a specular view of the lift off with a full moon as a back ground

I cannot post pic here, but found one on line that gives the perspective we saw from that ole beater 152.

  7. Having an equal number of take-offs and landings!

Actually my all-time favorite so far is when I bummed a ride with a friend of mine and got to log about 30 minutes of free dual instruction in a Stearman.
