What's better? A school with high SEN and support? Or a school with low SEN and support?

To cater for students with SEN's needs? And make their education better with the high percentage of SEN and the SENCO who is available to help.

  1. It all depends what the SEN needs are for the individual. If their needs are purely academic than I would say low SEN and support however if their needs are behavioural than I would say high SEN and with support.

    Without knowing the student's needs than it is really difficult to say.

    Working with SEN who are EBD high dependency, I have seen how they have struggled to be integrated in to main stream schools, Academically they are very capable but their personal skills hold them back.

    My youngest child has SEN needs and attends a main stream school where she receives additional support and is doing really well.
