What's better: A scooter with a long warranty or a more reputable name?

What would you prefer:

To own a scooter by a well known and trusted brand like Honda, that may only have 1 years warranty.

Or a brand like Bug (Kymco) that has a 4 year unlimited km warranty?

I went with a Yamaha TMAX on the basis that they almost never go wrong. I'm not even sure what length the warranty is because it didn't even enter the buying equation.

I know that they make a decent machine that works straight out of the crate and doesn't need to be propped up with a long warranty.

Suzuki burgman is the best i have it from 3 year and it's just fine

I'd do whatever it took to buy at least a japanese scooter, or even a vespa.

Was the question asked, "how many Kymco dealers are out there to service their warranty?"  The likely answer is that there are far more Honda dealers who will provide the 1-year warranty service.

Kymco is the largest manufacture  and highest rated scooter in the  world. They use to build Honda's motors for them up to 150cc. And the burgman is what get traded in on Kymco. With them you do not pay for a name, just a good scooter. I have hardly ever had to do more to a kymco than normal maintenance. On that list above my answer the top three should be below the rest because they are not rated  as high or good as the rest.

i usually go with reputable names.

an unknown name may offer the longer warranty bc they've had issues with their products.

i'm not a scooter expert so i'd do some research online.
