back in the day it used to be that ford had a good body and chasis, chevy had the good powertrain.

so chevy's would run forever but the body and frame would rust so bad that the car would fall apart.. fords had powertrain problems but the body and frame would last forever..

However today i think there all just as the same as the other, it really comes down to preventative maintenance.

Chevy is the best. They used the same basic small block for over 40 years. Ford had some good cars with good powertrains, especially the FE big blocks. Both brands had trouble with rust, by the way. It's called salting the h**l out of the streets.

definitely ford. Cuz there first on race day and that's all I really had in my life besides a jeep, which it was pretty cool too.
