What's better a 22" tv with dvd built in or a 26" but have to buy a dvd in addition?

i mean i think i'd rather have the dvd inside it. that waht i hvae in my tiny tv now. i need a tv thats a big bigger. gosh 22 seems tiny too

  1. Well I'd look at refresh rate and also google the two brand names that the tvx are. A slow refresh rate can give you choppy frame rates when watching shows or movies with a lot of movement. Also the brands could have a higher fail rate then the other so check that out. Also try and compare warranties for the two, if the come with one. Lcd's dont usually break, but sometimes ship with scratches on the screen.  


  2. Go for the 26" TV .. DVD Players are cheap and small these days ($35 for decent slim DVD player). Check out http://www.myhdtvdeals.com for good pricing on 22" or 26" HDTVs.

  3. What would happen if you bought the TV/DVD combo and one of the components (either the DVD or TV) broke down?

    You'd be out of both a TV and a DVD. If you have to send the combo to be repaired, that is.

    If you bought the two separate items, one of them can break down, but you'd still have the other one.
