Usually, in a 15 round draft, you should take 4 rb's and 5 wr's for a typical 2rb/3wr format. However, what if you take 3 rbs and 4 wr's and use the two extra slots to play quarterback by committee and/or defense by committee, and play those two positions by matchup?

  1. I play in a 2RB/3WR league and I always try to take 5 RBs, 5 WRs, 2 QBs, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF.  You always need to lock up RB and WR.  There will be good QBs on the waiver wire.  Don't worry about the low-scoring positions - TE, K, DEF.  In fact if your league will let you, don't draft any kickers, pick up an extra RB or WR and see what happens between the end of your draft and the start of the season.  Then before the first game drop your worst player and pick up a kicker.
