A Viking is a better boat, but at that age you should have a survey to check out the hull looking for soft spots.

I know the Cruiser much better than the Viking  but your talking 30K and 16 years, that's hard to justify.  If your into offshore fishing and can manage $400 a trip for fuel I can see going for the Viking.  If short trips and weekending is your thing, the Cruiser has a better value.  Good Luck!
