  1. What's does that have to do with Alternative Fuel Vehicles?

Are you going to burn them in your gas tank or try to shave off a few miles per gallon?

When your mom and dad said they were going to get you a razor but didn't want you to use it in your car they meant a cell phone.

  2. cut throat razor or (shock! horror! but why?) grow a beard. they're lovely. stick out the couple of weeks of constant itching and you are home free.

actually, i imagine you would be washing your face anyway, so the hot water/ soap thing is a red herring.

steel is not incredibly energy intensive to make, especially the tiny amount in the blade. its the plastic is the bummer, cant you get one of those cartridge jobs, much less waste plastic, i place my bet on those.

  3. Electric razor.  They require very little power.  Making steel requires a lot.

  4. The best choice is a straight razor.  No waste, no blades to buy and it does not use electricity.

  5. Electric... or at least that's what I've been told

  6. strictly speaking - neither!

because both things are more or less "disposable"

perhaps to shave by sharp blade (as knife or something) which can be sharpened again.

that way one doesn't through away anything and also doesn't consume electric energy.

but then .... there is also plenty of water used, and shaving foam / gel / whatever...

so, may be to be really environment friendly one has also use naturally made soap (from plants) and recycle the water used for splashing ! ;)

oh, but there are also after shave things...

well, perhaps this process can't be 100% environment caring ...

so, may be the BEST way is - not to shave at all? as Punjabis (Sikhs) do  LOL

  7. I would say single blade but if u still dont prefer that I would say disposable.  not only it doesnt require electricity to use but u can use it more than just once in fact somebody used it up to hundreds of times before it was finally worn out but i wouldnt suggest u doing it for THAT long.

the way u can reuse the disposable blade is after u used it to shave, u rinse it, and then gently dry it off with a towel and ready for next times use.

  8. The Roman's used their swords, and they didn't even use electric.
