I'm deciding between the Toshiba Satellite A305-S850 (better processor according to reviews) and the HP Pavilion dv2945se (better graphics card).

I plan on using it mostly for video editing using the Adobe creative suite but im unsure as to which one will help me out better in the long run. any help?

  1. A better processor. Graphics card only enhances your view.

  2. It's the processor that do the job, graphic card only do the image processing to the monitor only, and not to the video files..

  3. Better processor, get a Quad Core Duo. Amazing!

  4. go with the processor.. its more important i think... REALLY makes a HUGE difference.. and later down the road if u save up a little more money.. u can buy a graphics card and put it in. and then have both.. Good luck

  5. I'd suggest the HP pavilion which has a better graphics card, if video editing is what u r using and adobe creative suite is the software, then HP is better and moreover i'm a personal fan of their service.

I had the same question when i had to decide for a team of 6 graphics designers i chose HP and trust me i've been justified by the performance of the machine

  6. of course the better processor.

because u need 2 everything going smooth.

graphic card only enhance your view.

    not your speed.

later on u can add on the graphic card.

a bit expensive but u still can add it on.

    tq
