What's better mtx or boston acoustics?

as far as subwoofers go?

The Boston Sub will give you the Tone  (where you hear the Bass sound musically)

The MTX will give you the Concussion (where you feel the thump and vibration on your skin and chest but less tone in your ears)

definately mtx. if youve heard the two then youll clearly know. no doubt boston is good. but ive had 1 just 1 mtx thunder 4500 hooked to an mtx 400 watt 2 channel amp. and you could hear me from 3 BLOCKS AWAY!. no lie. and for reliability. my uncle has a concert speaker from mtx. and hes had it for over 15 years. and it still makes me have to walk out of his house when he turns it up. so for performance and reliablity. def. MTX!

Boston is probably the way to go when you're older and want a SQ sub.  

As the consensus tells you, MTX has the reputation and been building hard pounding subs for quite some time now.

MTX is the best due to it's history...i had 2 10" mtx thunder 4000's and a 400 watt mtx thunder 4002 series amp and my friends say they can hear me from about a 1/2 a mile away...and i have never heard any boston acoustics at any compitions...

If you want SQ then Boston.  If you are looking for louder bass then MTX.  

As far as what's better, it is up to your own personal opinion on what sounds better.
