What's better than a MINI?

Question

Is there any car that is more fun to drive, better or close MPG, and better acceleration than a Mini Cooper S Convertible? Any suggestions should be under $30k please.

A lotis elise cus it sounds like you're into little cars which isn't very manly i might add.  Get a corvette z-06 and put a 100 shot in it that is d**n good bang for the buck you will learn the definition of acceleration!!!!!

Acceleration-Tons of cars. All V6 powered cars. All 4 cylinder turbocharged and supercharged cars, and Honda's S2000 4 cylinder are faster than the mini Cooper S in acceleration and top speed.

None with better gas mileage that are as fast.

More fun to drive-Porsche Cayman S, BMW Z4 M, Lotus Elise, but they are more expensive. no car under $30k more fun to drive.

you should be able to get any kind of american made muscle car for under 30k,  I guarantee it will be more fun to drive and will turn lots of heads at the same time.  if mileage is really a concern, you should get a hybrid, or a bicycle.   you want to go fast?  BUY THE GAS

The only thing thats really anywhere close would be a diesel VW golf. They get like 55-60mpg, which is quite a bit better than the Mini, but its not anywhere as fast, stock anyways.

2002 Corvette comes to mind, 30 mpg highway, 23 or better mixed, acceleration that will blow your mind.
