What's biting me? Do spiders bite?

I'm being bitten at night while I'm sleeping but the only type of little creatures we can find in our flat are the occasional spider. Could it be them? What else could it be? I get big nail size bites and one night I counted 37 of them on my leg. All in the same area.

  1. If they start forming into pimple-y sores, then they might be scabies.

  2. they could be a number of things.. scabies, chiggers, insect bites, spider bites, some sort of bacterial infection, a virus, a fungal outbreak, an allergic reaction to something you've eaten, touched, somewhere you've been... could be anything depending on where you live and your lifestyle... no way to tell unless you see it. i'd have a doctor look at it.. only way to tell for sure. cuz the cure for one thing could make another worse.

    good luck!

  3. There is no telling.  Yes spiders do bite, but if you have spiders you must have something they feed on.  either could be your culprit.  Wash all your linens blankets and comforters.  Vacuum your mattress.  Use the floor vacuum with the beater bar going.  I was shown how much skin we shed in our mattress by a vacuum cleaner salesman, yuck.  There are assorted critters that live there and eat our old skin.  At the same time I would thoroughly clean the room and especially the corners and under furniture.  If this doesn't get the culprits, you will need to get an exterminator.

  4. bed bugs...spiders...fleas...vampires!!!
