Med: Canon HV20, HV30, Sony HDR-HC7, HC9

High: Canon XHA1, Sony HVR-V1U, Panasonic DVX200

There are others... but these are the usual "suspects". All these camcorders use miniDV tape because it stores DV (and HDV) which does not compress as much as the other storage media for consumer camcorders.

Digital video compression = lost data = reduced video quality
