  1. NTFS is a newer file system that was designed with businesses in mind originally.  It was designed to be secure, encryptable, and be less prone to malfunction/bad reads/writes. As such, it requires a more complicated system to implement. FAT-32 on the other hand is a much simpler and more limited files system. Its simplicity means its commonly found on devices life flash cards/USB sticks and the like. While NTFS is a much more feature rich and better designed files system, FAT-32 does have the advantage of being slightly faster in disc reads/writes as reads/writes are much more straight forward/direct fo the OS then in NTFS (the difference in speed is hardly worth the loss of functionality)

  2. Fat32 waste hard drive space, and is way less secured than NTFS.

NTFS writes information in smaller blocks which allows more info stored on hard drive.

NTFS allows encryption, compression, and file level management of permissions

The only time one would use Fat32 is if your running 98 or older

  3. if I remember correctly FAT32 can only hand up to 33 GB's of Hard Disk space while NTFS can handle 1TB of Space. NTFS has a bunch of security features and can handle failures much better than both FAT16 and FAT32 could handle. NTFS is better suited for the ATX platform for energy manageability of the Hard Disk. One major advantage of having NTFS is stability which protects the OS from crashing because a program freezes, thus allowing you to close the crashed program and continue on your merry way without having to restart. if a program crashed in FAT your system would freeze and you would have to restart which could potentially harm the Hard Drive.

  4. NTFS better u can change from fat32 to NTFS by reinstalling ur windows a message will ask u either u want fat32 or NTFS(RECOMMENDED)

  5. NTFS has many features that FAT 32 doesn’t. NTFS has: Permission that allows us to determine which user can access to your files and folders. Recoverability: Ntfs stores files in two places in the hard disk, if one file becomes corrupted, the other will be recovered from the system, and this is called Master File Table, MFS.  Reliability, NTFS volumes have the ability to recover from errors more readily than similar FAT32 volumes. Compression: Encoding files while reducing them into small bits. This allows us to take date files less space. NTFS provides smaller cluster sizes and less disk space waste than FAT32. NTFS supports disk quotas, allowing you to control the amount of disk usage on a per user basis. NTFS has security, fault tolerance and many more.

Yes, you can convert FAT 32 to NTFS many ways. The simplest method is you go start, run and type CMD, and type convert

C: /FS:NTFS ,  then yes to confirm and reboot the machine..
