  1. This reminds me....

the other day I read on the odwalla bottle something along the lines that biotechnology was bad. Besides the fact that odwalla is made by coca-cola, biotechnology in and of itself is not bad. The ethics involved in making a strawberry unable to freeze because it has a fish gene, that is highly controversial.

Genetic engineering in and of itself is not bad, we could do lots of good with it, especially with curing cancer. Of course, when Monsanto Food corp. said they would do genetic engineering to solve the hunger problem, look how well that turned out.

  2. others are fine with this but most fear that genetic engineering can cause harm in health and the environment. with that engineering, ecosystems could be disturbed.

  3. it may be the only option left in some future situations

  4. Hairless apes shouldn't play God!  All we are doing is stopping our own species evolution, a recipe for disaster.
