  1. It has many uses. It's most commonly used for the lungs. There are 2 species of eucalyptus that you will see out in the market.

    Eucalyptus radiata and Eucalyptus globulus.

Both fight infection but radiata I use specifically for sinus stuff. Although I know people who use globulus for it too.

    Here's a quick rundown:

Eucalyptus - fights infection and stimulates immune system. put a few drops in a pot of just boiled water to steam inhale for clearing sinuses. (do not do this while the pot is on the stove). mix a few drops with a tsp of olive oil and spread on the glands of the throat and under the nose to clear glands and congestion. rub the mixture on the chest as an expectorant

pain killer and antiseptic for skin situations like blisters, bruises, infections, sprains, sore throat (2 drops in warm water as a gargle)

    antifungal

antiviral - use a diffuser, vaporizer or compress for viral infections

Respiratory: decongestant, expectorant, cough, sinus congestion. use as an ointment or compress

Contraindications: don't apply undiluted essential oils to the face, eyes and nose or undiluted on wounds and skin inflammation.

  2. Dab some on your wrists and neck and you won't get bit by mozzies.  This is true - it really works

  3. Kills warts.

  4. to put on ur sun burn

  5. Eucalyptus is good to help pain in joints and muscles.  It absorbs through the skin quickly and act quickly.
