What's fun and free to do at weekends in London, apart from drinking, clubing, going to the cinema or restaurant?

The museums are the obvious free choice.

Depends whether you have any particular weekend in mind, but you will sometimes find events on in Trafalgar Square

On a Sunday, go to Speakers Corner

Markets - Camden, Petticoat Lane, Columbia Road Flower Market

Covent Garden - always some street entertainment on there

Check out the listings for the Barbican and the South Bank - there are often events on at the weekends with free music etc

Invest in a copy of one of the guides for what to do for free in London.

BTW where are all these free cinemas, clubs, restaurants and drinking dens? I'm a Londoner and I've never heard of them.

I love the Science and Natural History museums, they're free. The parks are also nice in London. Have a look around some of the sights.

So much ! The Tate,  the Tate modern, Dali exhibition on the southbank, Star wars exhibition in the county hall (yuk) British museum, natural history museum, the V+A showing kylie stuff i think (yuk again) you could go scuba diving down any main road in this bloody weather!!!!!
