  1. Global warming is overated. If it was that bad something big would of been done by now. Probably just another scam for big companies to get more money. not saying that you shouldnt recycle and stuff but i wouldnt get to worried about it. not in our lifetime anyhoo(:

  2. "Global Warming" is a method of fear mongering by Al Gore and his cronies.

He'll tell you that "all scientists agree" and "the debate is over" and global warming exists and it's all our fault (humans).

The truth is most leading scientists, and meteorologists in the world, includin the founder of the Weather Channel, believe that Al Gore is full of it and he is running this junk science as a fake religion in order to make money on his "carbon credits."

Those leading scientists just happened to meeting at a convention in New York City yesterday and they invited Al Gore and his top level cronies to come speak.  They even offered Gore his typical speaking fee and expenses to be paid.  Yet, even with that, he declined to entertain this debate that he claims is already over.

    I wonder why.

  3. Since the last little ice age the earth has gradually been warming.  This would seem to be a natural variation in the earths climate change.

But today global warming is generally associated with the concept that green house gasses, especially CO2, are responsible for the warming and that a significant portion of the warming is caused by CO2 produced by humans.  This is a somewhat controversial conjecture as the variations in temperature are not out of line with historical temperature variations.  Those that promote humans as the cause of global warming seem base their beliefs on projections of mathematical models for climate.  However, those models do not completely model all the processes at work in climate variation and so various assumptions are utilized, many of which have been shown to be wrong.

This is a brief view of my beliefs on this topic.  More information can be found at

    www.junkscience.com

which has many references and articles, primarily debunking much of global warming claims.

  4. Some gases ("greenhouse gases") let sunlight in, which warms the Earth, and then block that heat from leaving. That's the "greenhouse effect", and it's a natural thing, mostly caused by water vapor.

Man is making excessive amounts of greenhouse gases, mostly by burning fossil fuels. That causes the delicate natural balance to go out of whack and the Earth warms. That's global warming.

It won't be a Hollywood movie style disaster. Gradually coastal areas will flood and agriculture will be damaged. But it will be very bad. Rich countries will cope, but it will take huge amounts of money. In poor countries many people will die of starvation, but not all of them.

Most scientists say, in 20-50 years. But we need to start right now to fix it, fixing it will take even longer than that.

Really good website for more information here:

Lots of numerical scientific data proving it real here:

Proof that most scientists think it's real and mostly caused by us here:

  5. global warming is over

  6. okay first of all global warming is not over.

    imagine this:

you are sound asleep then wake up sweating. you kick off the covers. all better. but imagine you can't kick off the covers. this is global warming.

  7. The increase in the earth's average surface temperature over the last century - to a level near where it was for over two centuries at the beginning of the last millenium.

  8. global warming refers to an increase in average global temperatures.this is mainly emitted due to greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

  9. It's when the air pollution from factories and cars ect.. get in the air and make holes in the ozone layer with makes rays of light that the ozone layer is supposed to protects us from . like getting bad sun burns , bad skin diseas ect, ( all the skin stuff) which make it hotter on earth. thast is global warming..

    Hope i helped!!

  10. global warming is when the earth's heat increase and it get totally hot

  11. Global warming is a natural variation in the planet's average temperature over time.  A small group of scientists believe man may contribute to this variation.  Politicians have embraced this notion to justify initiatives into alternative energy sources (since we're quickly approaching the limit of our energy production capabilities with fossil fuels).

  12. Global warming isn't real.

    What don't you get?

The earth's climate has always gone in cycles.

This is a estimated climate chart from the past 400000 years.

    http://seoblackhat.com/images/co2-vs-tem...

We only have concrete evidence from he past few hundred years or so, which is not enough to make conclusions. Based on the charts from the past 200 years or so, yes, the climate has steadily gone up. So are we assuming in previous years the climate was lower? and lower? and lower? and.... then what? The earth is BILLIONS of years old. Not 200. Just because the temperature has gone up in the past couple hundred years is not enough to conclude that it will continue rising and that this is not normal. It IS normal. The climate goes in cycles.

Imagine if it was 60 degrees one day in July and I said, "Oh, It's a cold summer." You would tell me I was being ridiculous, because that was only one day or the entire summer and I can't draw conclusions based on one day. It is the same concept. You are making your judgments based on only a small fraction of the time earth has been around.

Oh, and by the way, here's the past 20 years:
