What's going on?!? Help!?

I have very erratic periods..sometimes they are 28 days and sometimes they are as long as 40 days.

I had unprotected s*x last week with my husband and he ejaculated in me. We stopped trying to conceive because we just weren't having any luck and decided if it was meant to be then it would happen.

Anyway...late Saturday/early Sunday is when we had s*x. I was (according to a 28 day cycle) supposed to start my period yesterday. I've had cramps, but no PMS at all...which is unusual because I usually have bad PMS. I figured I was getting ready to start...but when I went to the bathroom I had A LOT of egg white cm. It was very thick and stretchy. I don't think I've ever had this right before my period was due.

I seriously doubt that I'm pregnant....but is it possible? Has anyone else experienced this?

of course it's possible just get a test to confirm it either way before getting all nerveous about things.
