Question:

What's going on? I make good fried chicken with garlic, black pepper and seasoned salt...?

I dunk the pieces in egg and milk first, then into the flour and season mix. Then deep fry to perfection. I eat a few. Wonderful! But I freeze the rest in sealed containers. A few days later I take out a piece to microwave. Where did all the flavor go?

  1. deep fried food (homemade) is hard to taste the same after freezing. Specially, because microwave is not the same as stove top.

    What I usually do, is to freeze before frying. Then, I also have the option of frying while still half frozen.
