Question:

What's going on? Is this normal?

First the basics.

I'm 20, in a long term relationship, and have a normal and regular cycle. I am sexually active and I use protection. I've had my period since I was 13...

Now the question.

I got my period right on time this month. But it was a real heavy flow. I woke up in the middle of the night with blood all over me, where I leaked through my tampon, underwear, and shorts. I've been using the super plus tampons (which I have never needed. The most I wear is Super, and that's just for the first day). I have to change them every 4 hours due to leakage. It's my 4th day of menstration, and I'm still bleeding through the tampons, although it's super and not super plus.

My cramps were a whole lot worse. My b*****s are really sore and sensitive.

BUT, my main concern is that I've been seeing chunks in my blood. solid chunks of something. Not dried blood either, but almost like a pocket full of blood. I'm still cramping today and I'm still getting those chunks.

Is this normal and just my body changing or do I need to go see a doctor? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks for any help! I'm just worried soemthing might be wrong.
