I've got a question about Stephenie Meyer.I mean okay she finished Breaking Dawn now and nearly everybody already read it.So I have to admit,I'm one of the people who didn't like the book at all and I was really dissapointed.Of course there are sum people who love it.

So I watched some Stephenie Meyer interview and she is just ..so..I don't know confident.Okay she wrote books but I'm mean she's acting like the best author ever. She can't even answer a normal question about the book without beeing intriguer.

"Stephnie, are you going to write more books after Midnight sun"

-"I don't know yet.I mean I WROTE ALL BOOKS FOR ME.

What?What is wrong with her....sry but...yeah

Is she always acting like that?

  1. probably.

personally i did not lik breaking dawn but w.e

the only book i really liked from her was the host

  2. I think she is attempting to come off all self-confident, but it just looks snobbish and self-involved to the viewers.

  3. Well she wrote the book for herself so I think she does really care about her fans. And she is doing it for the money, come on, she is gonna write Twilight in Edwards perspective, I think its just for the cash. Theres rumors that she's writing the books in other peoples perspective, I think that's stupid. And, the fame is getting to her head.

i completely agree with the person above me.

  4. 1. Her writing is like a 13 year olds

    2. she just did it for money and not for fans

    3. she just wrote complete sickening nonsense in the last book

  5. I think she sounds truthful, not cocky.  She wrote her books for HER, not for everyone else.  She says repeatedly that she is thrilled that they do as well as they do on the market, but ultimately she only wrote them for her own enjoyment.

Would we all rather that she sat around trying to kiss fans and reporters butts than tell us the truth about why she writes?

Also, she knows that her writing is not the best.  I watched an interview with her not too very long ago where she said (in essence) that if she could go back and do it all again, she would not change the story, but there would be a lot of editing to be done to improve the actual writing.  She also repeatedly talks about the great writers that she loves to read and looks up to--doesn't sound to me like she thinks she is the best writer in the world if she is talking about looking UP to other authors.

Furthermore, she has every right to be self-confident.  She wrote down a dream that she had one night and became a multi-millionaire--because of US.  She became so successful because so many people love and buy her books.  I sure would be confident about myself and my writing if I was able to sell 1.3 million books in ONE DAY.

  6. In my opinion, she's always been that way. I think it's a little rude of her to come up with the "Rob Effect" where she says that, like Rob, her book will first be received badly and then everyone will love it. I also don't like how she said BD should be 2 movies -- as if they'll really make that a movie! The thing that really ticks me off is how she regards the classics. She bases her books on the classics, compares Edward to the great men of literature like Mr. Darcy....that really throws me off the deep end. She has no right to do that.

She's trying to sound confident, but it isn't working for her. It ends up sounding really cocky. She's always been a little cocky, but it's just gotten worse when everyone started kissing her *** since she's a chart-topping author.....even though she doesn't deserve that status.

  7. For one, it is HER book to write.

For two, she didn't write it for money like dimwit above me stated, she wrote her story to write her story.

I haven't read Breaking Dawn yet, but I will be this weekend as well as Eclipse. I haven't read those two yet.

Some people write for money, some people write for other people and some people write for themselves. That's the way she is, more power to her. Who cares?
