What's going on with my computer?

On my personal computer I keep getting the BSOD (blue screen of death) and it says beginning dump of physical memory. This computer doesn't even have the Internet connected to it. And when I turn it off and turn it back on, everything is the same as it was before. I also get messages saying "Your computer has recovered from a serious error" And nothing changes or anything. I have Windows XP Home Edition. Can you tell me what's going on with it?

  1. Could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This  problem can be solved by uninstalling new softwares, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . From http://fixit.in/bluescreenofdeath.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info

  2. Your computer is dying.  XP sucks.  I switched to a MAC and it is soooooo much better.  How old is your computer?  Is it worth saving (spending additional money to get it professionally fixed) or would you rather spend that money on a new, updated computer?

  3. If you tell what the error message says when it says beginning dump of physical memory,it would help very much to figure out the problem.
